EAGLE (A Swimming Bird)

EAGLE (A Swimming Bird)

A Poem by Amit Amola

Oh! High bird,
How you fly in your own sky?
High and so high,
With picking up your flesh,
With your certain guess,
By your feather’s bless.

                Crossing mountains, rivers and forests,
Traveling miles and miles without rest,
                 Cry and cry,
                 After every high,
                 Through a long whistle,
After a while in your own sky.

Rarely down to search the lump,
Attack on ‘leftover fleshy dump’’,
Oh pretty bird! How freely you fly?
Like a fort in king’s eye,
Like a fish in sea to thy,
How? You swim in your own sky.

                 Oh! High bird,
How? You swim in your own sky…!!!
